Katie Bowers
Katie Bowers is the newest of our fabulous dental hygienists. She was raised in beautiful Montrose, Colorado and made her way to Kansas after high school. Katie attended the University of Kansas for two years and the UMKC to obtain her dental hygiene degree. When not working, Katie spends most of her time with husband, Drew. She also loves traveling with her family and cheering on both the Jayhawks and Denver Broncos. Katie is excited to be part of the dental team at Peppes Dental.

Gina Bresette
Gina Bresette has been assisting Dr. Peppes with clinical procedures and has also assisted patients with designing their smiles at Peppes Dental since 1989. Gina has a daughter Alexis. Gina loves spending time with Alexis as well as with the rest of her family and friends. In her spare time, Gina likes to play softball and volleyball and loves to sing. (She truly has an awesome voice) Gina is an avid Chiefs fan and never misses watching a game, and if the Chiefs are in town, you can bet she’s one of the fans there at Arrowhead Stadium. Gina is a valued assistant who likes to be around people and loves being able to help them feel better about themselves through their dental care.

Linda Brown
Linda Brown has been our financial coordinator, skillfully handling all financial arrangements since 1993. She will be one of the friendly voices greeting you when you call Peppes Dental. Linda has four children: Trisha, Jeff, Carrie and Chad. When Linda’s not at work, you can usually find her spending time with one of her seven grandchildren or taking trips with her husband Charles and their friends. Linda is a great “people person” and is pleased to be able to help provide good dental care. Her best advice to our patients is to “always check your dental insurance coverage before you come in to have dental work started.”

Dara Franklin
Dara Franklin is another one of our talented dental hygienists and has been a member of Peppes Dental since 2001. Dara and her husband Brian have two children: Max and Maggie. When Dara is not at Peppes Dental or devoting her time to her children, she is usually out shopping and spending Brian’s paycheck. A special word of advice to Dara’s patients ... “Quit Smoking!”

Melanie Smit
Melanie Smit is one of our newest dental assistants. Melanie was raised in Bethlehem, South Africa and moved to the United States in 2000. Outside of work she likes to travel, spend time with her friends and family, and play soccer and tennis whenever she gets the chance.

Sara Peppes
Sara Peppes is the marketing coordinator for Peppes Dental, and is one of the faces you will see at the front desk. She graduated from the University of Kansas and is responsible for all the public relations and marketing at the dental office. Sara is a familiar face around the office as she has spent most of her summers helping out doing various jobs here. When Sara is not in the dental office, she teaches dance classes at Dance Studio I - Liz Kelley. Sara also owns “Sara and Me” www.saraandme.com, a business specializing in sorority, KU, K-State and MU gift items. In her free time, she can be found playing with her dog, Kona, a Cane Corso.

Colette Wahlmeier
Colette Wahlmeier is another of our wonderful dental hygienists and has been with Peppes Dental since 1997. Colette has two children: Tessa and Keegan. Music and sports of all kinds are what Colette enjoys in her free time. Colette became interested in the field of dentistry while in high school, when she had a job working at her local dental office. She continued working at the dental office throughout high school and college. Colette has one word of advice for all of her patients ... “FLOSS!!!"

Sue Wurdack
Sue Wurdack has been the Patient Coordinator for Peppes Dental since 1997, though she was missed by the office for three years when she and her husband Gary moved out of town. Sue’s is the smiling face that will greet you upon stepping off the elevator into the dental office and the voice most likely to greet you when calling the office. Sue graduated from the Kansas City College of Dental Assisting in 1975. She has two grown stepchildren, Kelly and T.J. and three grandchildren: Kiersty, Ashlee and Caden. When she’s not in the office, Sue enjoys being with her family, crafts, trying to garden and walking with her dog, Max. Peppes Dental is a great second family for Sue and she loves the way they care about their patients.
