Peppes Dental believes in giving back to the community by performing volunteer work as well as supporting local foundations. Below are a couple of examples of how Peppes Dental shows their support to the community.

KMOM

Peppes Dental participates in Kansas Mission of Mercy (KMOM) every year. KMOM is an annual event where dentists, hygienist and dental assistants generously contribute their time and talents in helping provide dental work to those who cannot afford it. Trying to educate and improve oral health in the state of Kansas is a main focus for this event.

Shadow Buddies Foundation

Peppes Dental helps support the Shadow Buddies Foundation, whose main goal is to support medically challenged children. For the month of November, Peppes Dental puts their At-Home Whitening Trays with Bleach on special and donates 100% of their proceeds, along with their time and services, to the Shadow Buddies Foundation. Also, on behalf of Peppes Dental, Dr. Peppes and Marketing Coordinator, Sara Peppes have attended the Annual Benefit Dinnner for Shadow Buddies since 2006. This is one of Shadow Buddies’ big fundraising events. Tony Gonzalez is an integral part of the Shadow Buddies Foundation and is involved in many of their programs. In 2009, American Idol winner, David Cook, and Chiefs quarterback, Matt Cassel, gave their support and have become a part of Shadow Buddies as well.

Think Pink!

For the promo that is on special for the month of October, Peppes Dental takes an amount of the proceeds to go to support the Greater Kansas City area breast cancer survivorship programs and research, in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Peppes Dental also picks a day in October where the entire staff wears pink that day to show their support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
